Dear Joe
I had a quick look at your youtube video, because it seemed like an interesting title. I’m not sure I could do justice to any discussion on meaning in a short time, but I’d like to recommend a book entitled “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl which is the most profound thing I have ever come across on the topic.
For people who subscribe to physicalist (the majority of modern scientific) interpretations of reality, the answer to any question concerning meaning is straightforward - there is none.
Personally I don't think that is true.
